Course overview

The Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) is a comprehensive qualification designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the construction industry. Candidates will learn to supervise communication and administration processes for building and construction projects, focusing on real or closely simulated workplace environments. Completing the general construction induction training program is required for all individuals undertaking construction work, with unit preparing candidates to work safely in the industry. 

It’s important to note that builder licensing requirements vary between states and territories, and additional criteria may be necessary beyond the attainment of this qualification.

Entry Requirements

Credit Transfer

Skills Click initiates a credit transfer process upon verification of certificates or results, aligning with the training plan. It grants students credits based on equivalence in content and learning outcomes with matched qualifications.

RPL/RCC

Skills Click offers RPL to all candidates upon enrollment. RPL assesses non-formal and informal learning to determine competency. It recognises relevant prior learning for credit application assessment, including formal, informal, and non-formal.
